Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve missing or misapplied loan payments
- Process loan payment reversals and adjustments
- Prepare and issue payoff letters
- Respond to customer inquiries and conduct payment-related research
- Support lenders in resolving customer complaints and service issues
- Answer inbound customer phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Maintain and update payment schedules, interest rates, and billing records
- Set up and manage ACH/AFT payment records
- Process customer change-of-address requests
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, peers, and management
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
- Working knowledge of federal banking regulations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant loan servicing or banking experience
