Loan Servicing Specialist II

Location: Wayne New Jersey 
Pay Rate: $30-$38/hr
Fully onsite- Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist to support the administration and servicing of loan accounts.
This position will be responsible for processing loan payments, maintaining accurate account records, assisting customers with inquiries, and supporting lenders in resolving customer issues.

• Research missing, misapplied, or incorrectly posted loan payments.

• Process loan payment reversals and adjustments.

• Prepare and provide loan payoff letters.

• Respond to customer inquiries and conduct account research.

• Assist lenders with resolving customer complaints and account-related issues.

• Answer incoming customer phone calls and provide professional assistance.

• Maintain payment schedules, interest rates, billing information, and other account records.

• Set up ACH/AFT payment records.

• Process customer change-of-address requests.

• Maintain accurate and confidential loan documentation.

• Perform other loan servicing and administrative duties as needed.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in stressful or time-sensitive situations.

• Working knowledge of applicable federal banking regulations.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 3–5 years of related loan servicing, banking, financial services, or administrative experience.

• Experience handling customer inquiries and financial account records preferred.

• FINRA background check required.

• Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
