Terms Of Employment
District 318 Administrative Professionals Contract
Grade 2, 7.5 hours per day, hourly, 9-month employee, teacher days plus 10
Salary range: $22.79-$23.42 per hour
Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. The district offers paid time off including sick leave, vacation leave, personal leave, and paid holidays. District paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance are available to full-time employees. Retirement matching is available after three years of service, and health care savings plan contributions are available after five years of service. Basic Responsibilities
The Third Party Billing Clerk is the Medicaid billing specialist for Special Services. This person is responsible for understanding & implementing the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) MHCP IEP Provider billing policy to maximize health insurance revenue while ensuring compliance with state & federal policy requirements.
Qualifications
Education required
Associate degree in business, healthcare administration, accounting, or related field
Experience Required
3 years of experience in billing, finance, healthcare systems, or special education administration
Experience managing complex data systems and compliance processes
