Job Description
This is a seasonal leadership position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and leading a team. As a Field Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily job sites, managing crew members, and ensuring successful delivery, setup, and takedown of event rental equipment.
This is a hands-on role—you will work alongside your crew while also leading, organizing, and making sure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Most jobs are within a 70-mile radius of Duluth and vary in size and complexity, from small backyard setups to large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crew members on job sites
- Safely drive company trucks and trailers (or be willing to learn)
- Execute daily job schedules with efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure all equipment is properly loaded, secured, and accounted for
- Oversee setup and takedown of tents, inflatables, tables, chairs, and event equipment
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and presentation
- Communicate clearly with customers, crew members, and office staff
- Troubleshoot and solve problems in the field as they arise
- Train and mentor team members to improve performance and consistency
- Enforce safety procedures and standard operating practices
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience driving truck and trailer preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate)
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Job Duties (Hands-On Work Includes)
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Transporting materials between vehicle and installation site
- Constructing and removing tents and inflatable equipment
- Driving stakes and securing tents (manual and with tools)
- Working in a team-focused, high-energy environment
- Following all safety procedures at all times
Additional Information
- Flexible and accommodating work environment
- Full-time: ~35 hours per week
- Part-time: ~15 hours per week (very flexible during school year)
- Weekend work required at times
- Overtime available
Pay
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience and leadership ability)
