Job Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy, extroverted, and technically skilled Technical Sales Rep to join our sales team. In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between our sales and engineering teams, leveraging your technical expertise to drive customer success and business growth. Your energetic approach will help showcase our advanced technical solutions, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and provide expert guidance throughout the sales process.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with complex technical products, engage directly with clients, and influence strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Global Director of Sales and play a key role in growing the business.
Duties:
- Collaborate closely with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Use social media marketing techniques and other tools to research and identify new prospective customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to strengthen relationships with existing customers and develop new ones.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, effectively highlighting features and benefits.
- Assist clients in selecting the most suitable product configurations for their specific applications.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to continuously enhance product knowledge and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a hard science (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry preferred).
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations and articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing client needs and designing appropriate solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proactive attitude toward customer engagement.
- Ability and willingness to travel in North America up to 6 weeks per year.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
