What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Maintenance & Reliability Manager position at Irving Knight Group?
Irving Knight is currently partnered with one of the largest and most exciting Building Material manufacturers in North America, who are seeking a transformational Maintenance Manager to drive change across the department.
This individual will have oversight of a >60 employee department, and large MRO budget, with the aim to increase equipment reliability, efficiency and overall capabilities. This role will also own and implement the TPM program, working cross-functionally across the large-scale facility.
- Lead the team through a shift from reactive to preventative and reliability centred maintenance.
- Build operator ownership and engagement through autonomous maintenance principles.
- Apply reliability programs to prioritize assets and develop sustainble work strategies.
- Own and improve KPI's such as MTTF, MTBR, Planned Maintenance, PM Compliance and Cost.
- Optimize the facilities CMMS systems, increasing accuracy, visibility, accessibility and drive decisions utilizing data received via the CMMS.
- Mentor and manage talent across the maintenance department, through technical and leadership trainings, succession planning, cross-functional awareness, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field (Preferred)
- ~10yrs of management/supervisory experience
- Familiarity of the TPM methodology including both Practical and Theoretical implementation
- Experience utilizing condition-based monitoring technologies and reliability-centred maintenance
- CMMS optimization experience
