The Role
The Landscape Construction Foreman will oversee the day-to-day management of field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position involves supervising a crew of 3–6 team members, coordinating with the Project Manager, and maintaining progress on multiple landscape construction projects. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in both workmanship and team culture.
Responsibilities

Lead on-site operations for landscape construction projects, managing crews of 3–6 members.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project layouts.

Delegate daily tasks and monitor crew performance for efficiency and quality.

Coordinate with the Project Manager on scheduling, materials, and equipment needs.

Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety procedures.

Operate and maintain landscape construction equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators.

Oversee installation of irrigation systems, steel edging, and perform light welding when needed.

Track project progress and complete documentation through digital tools.

Foster a collaborative, respectful, and safety-conscious jobsite culture.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Landscape Construction Foreman or similar leadership role.

Strong ability to read plans and execute detailed landscape construction layouts.

Skilled in irrigation installation, grading, and site preparation.

Proficient in operating construction equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, and power tools).

Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; E-Verify compliant.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong advantage.

Salary
Depending on experience. Additional project-based bonuses, plus summer and year-end bonuses.
Location
Full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, AZ.
