A growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects across retail, office, industrial, and tenant improvement sectors.

The Role
The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing both the technical and client-facing aspects of delivery.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing project execution, financial management, and stakeholder coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules (Microsoft Project preferred)
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and overall document control
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Lead and participate in OAC meetings
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development efforts and contribute to securing new work
Requirements
- Experience working as a Project Manager with a general contractor
- Strong background in commercial construction, particularly tenant improvement (TI) projects
- Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to take ownership from day one
Nice to Have
- Experience working in smaller, growth-oriented construction teams
- Exposure to a variety of commercial project types (retail, office, industrial)
