Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Intelligence
Status: Salaried Exempt
Position Purpose:
The Senior Power BI Developer will support enterprise analytics across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and corporate teams. This role is responsible for engineering Fabric based data pipelines, modeling semantic layers, and developing high impact Power BI reporting.

Position Purpose:
The Senior Power BI Developer will support enterprise analytics across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and corporate teams. This role is responsible for engineering Fabric based data pipelines, modeling semantic layers, and developing high impact Power BI reporting.
Principal Accountabilities
Data Engineering – 50%
- Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines (Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2).
- Develop transformation logic using PySpark/Spark and T SQL.
- Design reusable and scalable semantic models to support enterprise KPI standardization.
- Implement data quality validation, observability, lineage, and governance best practices.
- Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and executive level dashboards.
- Write optimized DAX measures and apply performance tuning best practices.
- Conduct business requirements workshops and translate needs into report and model designs.
- Support self service analytics adoption across IPG and empower business teams.
- Partner with global teams across operations, supply chain, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Contribute to analytics standards, documentation, and BI best practices.
- Provide mentorship, training, and support where appropriate.
- 3–5 years of BI development and data engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning).
- Proficiency in SQL (T SQL), PySpark, and Python.
