Title: Senior Power BI Developer
Department: MIS
Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Intelligence
Status: Salaried Exempt
Position Purpose: The BI Developer II will support enterprise analytics across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and corporate teams. This role includes engineering Fabric-based data pipelines, modeling semantic layers, and developing high‑impact Power BI reporting.

Principle Accountabilities
- Data Engineering 50%
- Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines (Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2).
- Develop transformation logic using PySpark/Spark and T‑SQL.
- Design reusable semantic models supporting enterprise KPI standardization.
- Implement data quality validation, observability, lineage, and governance.
- Analytics & Reporting 50%
- Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and executive‑level dashboards.
- Write optimized DAX measures and apply performance best practices.
- Conduct business requirements workshops and translate needs into report designs.
- Support self‑service analytics adoption across IPG.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with global teams across operations, supply chain, commercial, and corporate.
- Contribute to analytics standards, documentation, and BI best practices.
- Provide training and mentorship where appropriate.
- 4–7 years of experience in BI development and data engineering.
- Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
- Strong Power BI experience (modeling, DAX, performance tuning).
- Proficiency in SQL (T‑SQL) and PySpark/Python.
- Experience with Git-based version control.
- Integrity and reliability in handling data.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High performance mindset with ownership and accountability.
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Azure services and Microsoft Purview.
- Power Platform experience.
- Background in manufacturing
- Microsoft certifications.
