Data Analytics & Power BI Developer

We are seeking a mid‑to‑senior level Power BI & Data Analytics Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality dashboards and analytical solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, partnering closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, trusted analytics.

The ideal candidate brings strong Power BI expertise, solid data modeling and SQL skills, and a pragmatic approach to delivering insights that leaders can act on.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboarding & Analytics

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reports for executive, operational, and functional audiences
• Translate business requirements into clear metrics, KPIs, and visual storytelling
• Leverage AI‑enabled analytics features (e.g., Copilot, natural language queries, anomaly detection, forecasting) to enhance insights and decision support
  
  

Data Modeling & Validation

• Build and maintain semantic models using Power BI datasets, DAX, and data modeling best practices
• Validate data accuracy and consistency across dashboards and underlying datasets
• Partner with Data Engineering to understand source systems, transformations, and data limitations
  
  

Business Partnership

• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements, assumptions, and success criteria
• Communicate insights, trends, and caveats clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and deep‑dives as needed to answer business questions
• Help stakeholders understand and responsibly adopt AI‑driven insights within dashboards
  
  

Governance & Best Practices

• Follow and contribute to BI development standards, including naming conventions, documentation, and version control
• Ensure dashboards align with data governance, security, and access control requirements
• Participate in peer reviews and continuous improvement of analytics practices
• Contribute to emerging best practices around AI‑assisted analytics and insight generation
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (reports, datasets, DAX, performance tuning)
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational data warehouses
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, grain, relationships)
• Proven ability to translate business needs into effective analytical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and how analytics layers consume transformed data
• Exposure to Python or similar tools for analysis or automation
• Experience building executive‑level dashboards and KPI scorecards
• Familiarity with data quality checks, reconciliation, or financial/operational reporting
• Exposure to AI‑assisted analytics tools, machine‑generated insights, or natural language BI capabilities
