Role Summary
As a Manufacturing Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on best practices to optimise their manufacturing processes, with a specialised focus on shop floor operations. This strategic position is vital for supporting Our Client's ongoing growth and commitment to delivering measurable improvements for its customers. Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultancy to clients on manufacturing process enhancements, specialising in shop floor solutions.
• Assess and recommend improvements to production workflows, contributing to operational excellence.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, scope projects, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing solutions, including Business Process Reviews, Gap Analyses, Functional Workshops, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.
• Develop comprehensive documentation to support project deliverables and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate across departments and sites internally to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a broad technical knowledge base, including Services, Products, Processes, and Project management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues proactively or escalate as appropriate.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in Infor Syteline/CloudSuite Industrial, with at least five years' practical application in manufacturing settings.
• Strong familiarity with Bartender and database management, especially MS SQL.
• Experience with MES systems such as Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or ThingWorx.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing shop floor processes and process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges efficiently.
• Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and strong ownership of projects.
• Relevant bachelor's degree or substantial related work experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Eight years' experience with Infor CSI/Syteline in manufacturing environments.
• Additional knowledge of programming languages
• Background in supporting industrial environments with robust troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IIoT integration.

Core Manufacturing & ERP Expertise

5 years' hands-on experience with Infor Syteline / CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) in manufacturing environments

Deep understanding of shop floor operations and production workflows

Proven capability in process optimisation and operational excellence initiatives

Experience leading Business Process Reviews, Gap Analyses, Functional Workshops, and UAT

Technical Skills

Infor CSI / Syteline configuration and implementation

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) including:

Ignition

Wonderware

FactoryTalk

ThingWorx

Bartender (label management and integration)

MS SQL and database management

Troubleshooting complex technical issues

Documentation and functional specification development

(Desirable) Programming knowledge: JavaScript, C#, Python
