Role Overview
This pivotal position has been created to support the ongoing growth and operational excellence of our Client's manufacturing operations. As a SyteLine System Administrator, you will oversee the management, configuration, and optimisation of the organisation's on-premise ERP platform. Your expertise will ensure system stability, facilitate business initiatives, and enhance operational efficiencies across various manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and maintenance of the SyteLine ERP platform, including module management, licensing, updates, and patches
  • Configure and support key ERP modules such as customer and vendor portals, prepay and proof pay functionalities, and accounts payable automation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement new solutions and ensure seamless system performance
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise operational disruptions
  • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business projects and strategic initiatives
  • Support custom development efforts, including API integrations and internal enhancements
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users to maximise system utilisation and understanding
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and overall system optimisation initiatives


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience managing SyteLine ERP systems within a manufacturing setting
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP administration, system upgrades, patches, and module configurations
  • Proven experience with ERP integrations, customisations, and API workflows
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing operations and related business processes
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at juggling multiple priorities under pressure


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience working with SyteLine implementation partners or in large-scale ERP deployment projects
  • Background supporting ERP systems in aerospace, defence, or other high-tech manufacturing sectors
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-premise ERP environments
  • Exposure to compliance standards relevant to regulated industries or defence sectors

Position Summary

The ERP Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment. This position is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/SyteLine) platform used across multi-site aerospace manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in Infor CSI and related tools with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, supply chain processes, and aerospace quality requirements. This role ensures system reliability, data integrity, and alignment between business processes and ERP capabilities to support delivery of high-quality aerospace components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Manage, monitor, and maintain all aspects of the Infor CSI ERP environment, including servers, databases, security, and integrations.
Oversee system performance, perform patching, upgrades, and backups to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
Administer user accounts, roles, and access permissions in compliance with IT security and regulatory standards (e.g., ITAR).
Act as liaison between ERP vendor support, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
ERP Configuration and Optimization
Configure and optimize CSI modules to align with production, engineering, and supply chain processes.
Customize and extend ERP functionality using Mongoose, IDOs, Event System, and form customizations.
Support integration with related systems such as PLM, MES, Factory Track, CRM, and BI platforms.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive workflow and data accuracy enhancements.
Custom Development and Enhancements
Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the Mongoose framework.
Write and maintain C#, SQL procedures, and API-based integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned to operational needs.
User Support and Training
Provide day-to-day ERP support and coordinate timely issue resolution.
Develop training materials, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Partner with business users to translate operational requirements into system functionality.
Data Management and Reporting
Ensure data integrity through governance, validation, and audits.
Support leadership with accurate data for planning, reporting, and decision-making.
Project Leadership
Participate in ERP-related initiatives, including upgrades, rollouts, and cross-site standardization.
Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on strategic system improvements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
5-7 years of experience administering or developing within Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/SyteLine).
Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or aerospace environments (multi-site preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen due to regulatory and government contract requirements.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of CSI/SyteLine architecture and modules.
Experience with SQL, complex queries, and stored procedures.
Hands-on development experience with Mongoose, C#, and integrations.
Familiarity with APS, document management systems, and API/web services.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, including familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and quality systems.
Experience with Factory Track, PLM systems, and shop floor data collection.
Infor CSI or related ERP certifications.
