Role Overview
The Senior Business Central Consultant is a pivotal role, established to support ongoing growth and to enhance project delivery capabilities. This position offers a unique chance to influence strategic projects, guiding clients through complex implementations that improve operational efficiency. Your expertise will contribute directly to the optimisation of business processes, delivering value that echoes throughout the organisations you support.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and documentation.
• Steer multiple projects, managing teams and ensuring successful delivery within scope and timeframes.
• Conduct discovery sessions, analysing client requirements to design tailored solutions aligned with their business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and document comprehensive user requirements and functional specifications.
• Deliver post-implementation support, including user training and help desk assistance.
• Demonstrate product capabilities to potential and existing clients, showcasing the value of the solutions offered.
• Provide onsite and remote consultancy, adapting to client needs across various locations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central, identifying potential cross-system impacts and optimising configurations.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV across different industries, particularly distribution and manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of financial modules and integrated business processes.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, from discovery to deployment and support.
• Proficiency with reporting tools such as Jet Reports and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of related Microsoft technologies including MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, and Power Platform.
• Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude to engage effectively with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
• Ability to model business processes, translating complex requirements into functional solutions.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50%, supporting clients at various locations.

Desirable Skills & Additional Qualifications

• Certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.
• Experience with PrintVis or similar add-on products.
• Familiarity with cloud environments or other ERP systems.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new business processes and environments.

Ability to conduct workshops, system demonstrations, and user training, ensuring successful adoption and client satisfaction
Strong understanding of business process modelling, system configuration, and solution design
Experience working in a consulting/implementation partner environment, delivering solutions across multiple clients
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to travel and support clients across various locations
