Yellowstone Retail is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate employees to provide unforgettable guest service to our visitors in our retail shops. We operate and maintain eleven retail outlets throughout the park. We don't sell souvenirs, we sell memories!
Job Summary:
This role involves collaborating with field managers to optimize scheduling, conduct staff evaluations, and achieve sales goals. It includes overseeing inventory control, training on the retail software, assisting with merchandising and store setups, and supporting visual merchandising efforts while maintaining operational standards.
The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: Early January 2026 to Mid November 2026
Pay: $20.25/hourlySchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field managers and operations teams to ensure effective scheduling that meets business and staffing needs
- Conduct timely staff evaluations and provide strategies to achieve daily and weekly sales-to-labor goals
- Work with the retail distribution center, Assistant Director, and Risk Management to implement inventory control procedures for high-shrink and high-value items.Support the development and training of the Mi9 retail software system, serving as a subject matter expert on-site
- Assist with merchandising efforts in locations as time allows and help with store setups at the beginning of the season
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Coordinator on planning, assembling store signage, and creating store Standards Manuals
- Implement retail programs aimed at enhancing staff motivation and participation while maintaining operational standards in the Retail Department
- Perform various office and distribution center duties as needed, remaining flexible to accept additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications

- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of training topics; basic procedures, sales techniques, safety issues, product information and Park orientation
- Communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- General office skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher, Excel
- Previous training and retail experience helpful
Physical Requirements include:
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
