A Top25 AM Law firm is seeking a Private Investment Funds Associate to join their office in Boston. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of over 200 dedicated lawyers and over 50 years of experience in their Private Investment Funds team, which represents more than 1,000 investment managers around the world.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience with:
- Managing substantial components of fund formation transactions with private investment funds in the private equity, real estate, and/or technology industries.
- Private placements under the 33 Act.
- Unregistered funds under the Investment Company Act.
- Exposure to the Investment Advisers Act.
Role
This role will entail advising on:
- Innovative tax planning and fund structures.
- Securities law expertise.
- Ongoing compliance programs.
- Profit sharing and other compensation plans.
- Investment Advisers Act and Investment Company Act compliance.
- Banking and other financial services expertise.
- Marketing plans.
- LP/GP connections.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $260,000-$365,000.
