A top-tier law firm is seeking a senior or mid-level attorney with strong asset management experience to join its growing practice. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about investment management, fund formation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on investment management and compliance matters, including issues related to the Investment Advisers Act.
- Assist with the formation, structuring, and ongoing management of private investment funds, such as hedge funds, private equity funds, and other pooled investment vehicles.
- Stay current with evolving regulatory frameworks and help clients navigate complex legal landscapes.
- Collaborate with a sophisticated team advising a wide range of asset managers, institutional investors, and fund sponsors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in private fund formation and structuring.
- Deep knowledge of (or strong interest in developing expertise in) the Investment Advisers Act and related regulatory regimes.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex matters and serve as a strategic advisor to clients.
