A leading Global Am Law 20 law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior-level Labor & Employment Associate with 4 years of employment litigation experience to join its nationally recognised San Francisco Labor & Employment practice.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Represent employers in a broad range of employment disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
- Manage all phases of discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court and assist with hearings and trial preparation
- Manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues on sophisticated, high-profile employment matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering practical, business-focused legal advice
Qualifications
- 4 years of employment litigation experience
- Experience independently managing cases through all stages of litigation
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Courtroom and trial experience preferred
- Outstanding academic credentials from a nationally recognised law school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar
