About the Role:
Seeking a detail-oriented Labeling Systems & Automation Specialist to manage and optimize enterprise labeling systems and automation workflows. This role ensures accurate, compliant product labeling across warehouse and distribution operations while supporting related hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update label templates and automation workflows using NiceLabel.
- Develop automation logic (SQL, VBScript) for label generation and weight capture integrations.
- Build and manage data interfaces between labeling systems and production work orders.
- Support and troubleshoot warehouse hardware (printers, scales, barcode scanners) and network connectivity.
- Assist with equipment setup, installation, and maintenance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and IT teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Document workflows, systems, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide support for additional systems and tools as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- SQL proficiency and experience with automation scripting (VBScript, PowerShell).
- Experience supporting production/warehouse hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of GS1 or food industry labeling standards (USDA/FDA).
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NiceLabel, BarTender, or similar platforms.
- ERP/WMS integration experience in manufacturing or distribution.
- Familiarity with Python or other automation scripting tools.
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
