We’re looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Finance and Operations teams. This role is central to costing & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory processes & procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in inventory costing and variance analysis, a process-improvement mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping innovative product costing analysis, strengthening policies and procedures, and partnering closely with operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Costing & Analysis
- Assist in BOM and standards maintenance and evaluation.
- Analyze purchase prices, variances, and trends.
- Support month-end close processes, journal entries, and inventory reconciliations.
- Identify root causes of inventory losses.
- Maintain inventory costing methodology and conversion cost drivers.
- Support ERP data accuracy and help expand system capabilities.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for inventory-related expenses.
- Partner with Operations to achieve shared objectives.
Inventory Processes & Procedures
- Document internal controls, policies, and procedures for inventory.
- Validate compliance with established policies.
- Build expertise in D365 and MES data connections.
Ad-hoc Analysis
- Deliver reporting and data insights for inventory, COGM, and COGS.
- Provide analysis to Operations to support decision-making.
- Cross-train on financial analyst responsibilities for backup coverage.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- PowerBI and Power Automate experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, etc.); VBA/macros a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for inventory observations and budget planning.
- Hybrid work environment (remote, corporate office, and occasional plant visits).
