We’re hiring a Controls Engineer to support and improve automation systems within a food manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping production running efficiently, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing control systems.
What You’ll Do
- Support and optimize plant automation and control systems to improve uptime and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues on the production floor
- Develop and maintain systems such as SCADA, HMI, and MES
- Lead and execute controls-related projects (cost, timeline, performance)
- Train maintenance teams on automation and electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in industrial controls / automation
- Experience with SCADA systems (Ignition preferred), PLCs, and electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable working on-site and occasionally on-call/off-hours
