Job Description:
- Execute plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering activities.
- Perform interference/clearance analysis and optimize weld-spot distribution across robots while meeting cycle-time requirements.
- Create problem-tracking charts and develop multiple engineering solutions.
- Develop equipment, robot, and process specifications.
- Perform robot reach studies and robotic simulations for welding, sealing, and material-handling processes.
- Support new vehicle model introduction on existing production lines.
- Support production ramp-up, line innovation, and line renovation activities.
- Provide engineering support for Weld, Paint, and Final Assembly processes.
- Coordinate project activities and onsite/offshore engineering teams.
