Location: San Diego, CA
Contract: 06 months contract with extension

Description
On site Electrical Engineering is responsible for designing and developing components, electronic packaging, electrical circuitry, and other systems used in finished equipment. Demonstrates advanced knowledge on making trade-offs between alternate design topologies.
Working knowledge of Product Development Process. Provides advice on feasibility and risks for a product.
Extends system design for existing products. Facilitates cross-functional knowledge and experiences to facilitate the understanding and resolution of single product development issues, concerns and risks.
Must have - Analog and digital circuit design for medical devices, Low-power design for battery-operated devices, Knowledge of IEC 60601 and ISO 13485 standards EMC/EMI compliance and testing experience PCB design and layout (Altium, Alegro, OrCAD, or similar), High-speed design and grounding/shielding techniques, Embedded systems experience (microcontrollers, firmware integration), Communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, BLE), Risk management and documentation (FMEA, design history files), Hands-on testing and troubleshooting with lab equipment, Ability to develop test plans and execute verification protocols
