Role: Field Engineer
Location: Sabine Pass, TX
Job Description
- Utilize excellent knowledge of P&IDs, single line diagrams, piping layouts, and other engineering drawings to support project requirements and ensure accurate documentation.
- Accurately locate equipment and instruments in the plant using various engineering drawings, including location layouts and plot plans.
- Conduct physical asset verification of plant equipment and piping, performing tagging of valves, instruments, and equipment in the field.
- Prepare redline and as-built documentation for valve and instrumentation drawings, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected.
- Perform quality checks to verify changes and updates in engineering drawings, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Customize specification templates, loop drawing templates, and hook-up templates to meet specific project needs.
- Efficiently import and export data from Excel and MS Access for project documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with the drafting team to ensure timely updates and modifications to engineering drawings.
- Maintain flexibility for full-time fieldwork as required by project demands.
