What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Site / Civil Engineer, you’ll take on a leadership role in designing and managing complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, roadways, utilities, and erosion control measures
- Using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design and preparation of construction documents
- Leading project teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring projects stay on track
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and federal clients to meet project requirements
- Conducting site evaluations and occasional travel for on-site assessments
- Preparing proposals, reports, and other project documentation
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and site design
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management experience, including budget and schedule oversight
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with federal clients or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Ability to travel occasionally for site visits and client meetings
