• Previous PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) or managed care experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmacy fulfillment operations by ensuring prescription accuracy, overseeing pharmacy technician activities, and performing final quality checks before medications are packed and shipped. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of pharmacy regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced fulfillment environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Verify prescriptions and prescription data entered into the pharmacy computer system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the daily activities of pharmacy technicians and inventory personnel.
• Organize workflow, establish priorities, complete assignments efficiently, and utilize resources appropriately while following department standards.
• Perform final quality checks in the fulfillment area before medications are packaged and shipped to patients.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Support department quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of robotic automation and pharmacy fulfillment technology.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment while standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
