🏢 Mode: Onsite
🕒 Shift: Rotational shifts (5 AM–1 PM | 1 PM–9 PM | 9 PM–5 AM)
We are looking for a Master Control Operator to support high-volume broadcast operations and ensure seamless on-air programming across multiple channels in a fast-paced media environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support on-air operations during major system migration initiatives
- Perform quality control checks for programming, commercials, and live events
- Manage and update on-air playlists using broadcast automation tools (e.g., SNELL Morpheus, Amagi)
- Ensure flawless execution of commercial breaks during live and recorded programming
- Monitor 150 channel streams to ensure continuous broadcast quality
- Verify all content readiness for air including audio, video, captions, and picture quality
- Act as first responder for any on-air discrepancies with quick decision-making
- Collaborate with operations teams to resolve issues in real time
- Communicate clearly with production teams for playlist and schedule updates
- Maintain adherence to broadcast standards and operational procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Media, Communications, or related field
- OR equivalent hands-on experience in broadcast, digital, or production environments
- Strong understanding of TV broadcast operations or live production workflows
Preferred Skills:
- Prior master control or control room experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to perform under pressure in live broadcast environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies quickly
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving workflows and technologies
- Spanish language skills are a plus
