Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Terms: 6-month Contract (with potential to extend)
Location: Oxford OH 45056
Schedule: Saturday- Wednesday 7-430 PM EST(flexible to work around if needs weekend off for event/family if notified ahead of time.)
Pay rate : $40.00- 50.00 per hour
Top Skills Needed
- AutoCAD (2024) – plus CREO/SolidWorks for visualization and design
- Process Definition – time studies, work instructions, using video/ops collaboration to improve line execution
- Engineering Degree – ME preferred; Industrial/Supply/other engineering degrees accepted
- Line Architecture & Industrial Processes experience
Role Overview
- Perform engineering work involving process design, layouts, mechanical/manufacturing improvements, tooling, and safety.
- Solve daily and long-term issues using SPS/Lean tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, SAP, layouts, etc.).
- Support new product development, cost estimates, process layouts, and design criteria.
- Assist with tooling, fixtures, equipment design/purchase, and capital expenditure proposals.
- Develop improvements in process flow, ergonomics, safety, and material handling.
- Act as a key manufacturing support resource, leading problem resolutions and improvement projects.
What Makes You Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ME or EE preferred)
- Strong communication & project management skills
- 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience
