Job Title: Cooling Controls Developer (Controls Engineer III)
Location: Lancaster, NY
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Pay rate: $52-$57/Hr on W2

We are looking for a hands-on Cooling Controls Developer with experience in CAREL development platforms, PLC programming, and controls software development. The ideal candidate will help implement security features in cooling control products and ensure they are enabled by default before product release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enable security features in cooling control products before release.
- Write, modify, and maintain code across CAREL, PLC, and network management platforms.
- Develop and implement security-related functionality within existing controls applications.
- Test and validate controls functionality following software changes.
- Troubleshoot coding, controls, and integration issues.
- Support product development, testing, and secure release activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in controls engineering, cooling controls, or controls software development.
- Hands-on experience with CAREL components and development platforms.
- Strong PLC programming and controls software coding skills.
- Experience with network management controllers or cards.
- Familiarity with CAREL 1tool, c.suite, or related CAREL development environments.
- Experience supporting products through development, testing, and release.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, cooling, or thermal management controls.
- Background in embedded controls or controls software development.
- Experience with connected or network-managed cooling equipment.
- Knowledge of implementing security functionality in product development environments.
Ideal Candidate: A controls engineer who can actively write and modify code, implement security features, troubleshoot issues, and help deliver secure, release-ready cooling products.
