Job Title: Cooling Controls Developer

Location: Lancaster, NY 14086 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $57.94/hr on W2 (without benefits)

Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

Schedule: 1st Shift

Are you a hands-on controls engineer with experience in CAREL, PLC programming, and cooling control systems? Here’s an exciting opportunity to combine controls software development with product security!

We’re looking for a Cooling Controls Developer to help enable security features by default, validate controls functionality, and prepare cooling products for secure release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and maintain code across CAREL, PLC, and network management platforms.
• Enable security features by default in cooling control products before release.
• Implement security-related changes within existing controls applications.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot controls functionality and integration issues.
• Support product development, testing, and secure release readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in controls engineering, cooling controls, or controls software development.
• Hands-on experience with CAREL components and development platforms.
• Strong PLC programming and coding skills.
• Experience with network management controllers/cards.
• Familiarity with CAREL 1tool, c.suite, or related development environments.
• Experience supporting products through development, testing, and release.

Preferred Experience:

• HVAC, refrigeration, cooling, or thermal management controls.
• Embedded controls and connected cooling equipment.
• Controls software development and product security enablement.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on engineer who can write and modify code, enable security functionality, troubleshoot issues, and help deliver secure, release-ready cooling products.
