We are looking for a Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to our team.
The IS4S culture reflects a startup environment with passion about developing leading-edge manufacturing processes for high-reliability, high-volume military electronic systems for airborne and satellites applications. Production volume is expected to be several thousand systems per year.
In this position, you will be responsible for the Stand-Up and Continual Management and Oversight of the manufacturing facility producing Tactical Software Defined Radios supporting several Airborne and Weapons platforms.
Responsibilities will include:
· Lead the Design and Stand-Up of the Production facility
· Develop layout design, equipment selection, and workflow optimization
· Ensure successful transition of prototypes to full-scale production by collaborating with design and engineering teams.
· Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications for Military Electronic manufacturing.
· Stand up FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Analysis System) and Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects in electronics and mechanical components.
· Be the manufacturing representative to outside CM's and help ensure timely delivery, quality of external hardware.
Your work will have a direct impact on the success of the Division and the Company. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer, engineering team, and program management to ensure the successful build, launch, and continual manufacturing flow of our products.
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
· A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 10 years of related industry experience.
· Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of electronics hardware.
· Design of Production Fixtures to Optimize Efficiency and Flow
· Experience with change management, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and acceptance criteria.
· Experience with cost analysis, managing suppliers, and configuration management.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to establish scalable manufacturing processes.
· US Citizen and able to get a Classified Clearance of at least SECRET.
· Locate to Fort Walton Beach, FL area; around Eglin AFB.
Preferred Experience
· Knowledge of
o Industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
o Electronic Manufacturing Standards IPC-2221 and IPC-2222, Class 3
o Mechanical assembly, CNC machining.
o MRP (Material Resource Planning) Systems
o LEAN Production and Production Flow Analysis
o AS9100/ISO9001 quality management system requirements.
