Junior Contract/Subcontract Administrator Job Description (On-Site/Remote)

- Description:** Responsible for contract and subcontract management and administration of assigned project portfolio from pre-award to closeout in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procurement policies/ procedures.
- Under the direction of a senior contract/subcontract administrator, performs contract and subcontract administration duties in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplements, applicable laws, corporate policies and procedures and customer requirements for multiple subcontracts of unlimited dollar value to ensure subcontractors fully meet company and project requirements.
- Serves as a liaison between company and subcontractor.
- Prepares and maintains comprehensive subcontract documentation files that will pass internal or external audit (DCAA/DCMA).
- Performs contract and subcontract closeout processes and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for post award modifications to agreements including all change related activities
- Under the direction of a senior contract/subcontract administrator, establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks
- Interprets internal and external issues and recommends best practices and processes improvements.
- Candidate must have ability to work semi-independently, with good problem-solving skills, while keeping management updated on the status of assigned activities.
- Candidate must have good understanding of the government acquisition process
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and supplements
- Candidate must have a solid negotiation, oral, and written communication skills are required
