Insure Technology is partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-location specialty healthcare organization to identify a Chief of Staff who will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO.
This individual will play a critical role in helping drive operational performance, financial visibility, organizational accountability, and scalable growth initiatives across the business. The ideal candidate combines strong healthcare operations experience with financial acumen, executive communication skills, and hands-on experience working within the athenahealth EHR platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CEO on operational strategy and organizational execution
- Assist with management and oversight of practice-level P&L performance
- Analyze operational KPIs including provider productivity, patient throughput, scheduling efficiency, payer mix, reimbursement trends, and revenue cycle performance
- Build and maintain executive reporting dashboards and operational analytics
- Serve as a key operational stakeholder for athenahealth workflows, reporting, optimization, and utilization
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, billing, finance, and administrative teams to improve operational effectiveness
- Support revenue cycle optimization efforts including collections, denials, documentation workflows, and reimbursement visibility
- Lead strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of executive leadership
- Develop business cases and operational recommendations tied to growth initiatives, process improvements, and technology investments
- Help drive accountability, communication, and follow-through across leadership teams
- Coordinate executive meetings, operational planning sessions, and organizational priorities
- Support physician onboarding, operational integration, and organizational growth initiatives
- Assist in evaluating operational scalability and process standardization opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of healthcare operations leadership experience
- Experience supporting or managing P&L performance within a healthcare organization
- Hands-on experience using athenahealth EHR/practice management software
- Strong understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations and revenue cycle management
- Experience building operational reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, physicians, and operational stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong project management and execution capabilities
Preferred Background
- Specialty physician practice, surgical, ASC, cardiology, vascular, orthopedic, GI, or multi-site healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting growth-oriented healthcare organizations
- Exposure to operational scaling, process improvement, or healthcare transformation initiatives
- MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred, but not required
