DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure ethical, responsive, personal, and efficient claims service, while driving continuous improvement, cost control, and service excellence.
Lead and execute the talent strategy for property claims and the Claims Response Center.
Oversee workflow management, staffing models, and succession planning.
Build and manage departmental budgets, loss cost controls, and expense management.
Develop best-in-class strategies for 1st-party property damage claims, including catastrophe response.
Lead FNOL, call center operations, administrative support, and catastrophe readiness.
Ensure reserving practices align with actuarial expectations and corporate philosophy.
Analyze trends, identify root causes, and use data to improve outcomes across the organization.
Champion a continuous improvement culture through analytics, QA insights, and targeted training.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
10 years of progressive claims experience within commercial and residential property losses.
5 years of claims leadership experience, including catastrophe operations.
Strong understanding of call center operations, metrics, and service models.
Broad insurance industry knowledge with a proven track record of results.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Empathetic leader who balances customer experience with business outcomes.
Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable leveraging data, trends, and root-cause analysis to drive performance.
Salary : $165,000 - $183,000
