Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities, daily living skills, and rehabilitation needs in their home environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific goals and challenges.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and adaptive techniques for daily activities.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to promote independence, safety, and optimal functioning at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in occupational therapy and home health care practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Home Health Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
- CPR
- 2 step TB test
- Current state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Preferred working knowledge of HCHB
