Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join our team on a flexible hybrid basis.
What You'll Do
As an International Tax Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while leading complex engagements, mentoring team members, and partnering with firm leadership on strategic tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing technical expertise on international and domestic tax matters, identifying risks, and delivering practical solutions
- Lead and manage engagement teams through planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and budget adherence
- Review and sign off on complex U.S. federal, international, and multi-state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
- Provide technical leadership on international tax compliance and reporting, including FBAR filings, Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 1120-F, and GILTI calculations
- Collaborate with Partners on international tax planning, entity structuring, transaction consulting, and risk mitigation strategies
- Research complex and emerging tax issues and translate technical guidance into actionable recommendations for clients and engagement teams
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff through ongoing feedback, technical training, and performance management
- Support practice growth through business development initiatives, proposal participation, and identification of cross-service opportunities
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional service
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 6 years of public accounting tax experience or related experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent professional certification
- Strong knowledge of international tax compliance, reporting, and planning
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of complex client engagements
- Strong leadership, supervisory, project management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Proficiency with tax technology and related software platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Taxation or a related field
- Experience advising multinational businesses and high-net-worth individuals on international tax matters
- Experience with leading tax compliance and workflow management software
