Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Assist with tax planning and consulting engagements.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulations.
- Support Managers and Partners on client engagements and special projects.
- Gather and analyze financial information to ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Assist clients with tax notices and information requests.
- Maintain strong client relationships through professional and timely communication.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of public accounting tax experience preferred.
- CPA or EA candidate preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications.
