Tax Associate – White Plains, NY

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1–2 years of public accounting or relevant accounting experience
• Understanding of core accounting and tax principles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and other tax returns
• Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting and bookkeeping engagements
• Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support payroll tax, sales tax, and other compliance filings
• Assist with trial balance preparation and financial data analysis
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to support engagement delivery
• Identify and escalate issues to senior team members as needed
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation
• Stay current on tax and accounting developments
