Insight Global's client is looking for a Transmission Planning Engineer to support long term planning in Florida. This role's main focus will be model updates and long term planning, and keeping compliance with FERC, NERC, and TPL1 studies; focused and Model creation. Wholistic approach with coordination for the year plans, less studies and outage focused.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience working on Transmission Planning within the utilities industry.
- Modeling experience with PSSE and TARA (Power World is an alternative).
- Experience doing TPL-001 studies.
- Strong understanding of NERC and FERC standards.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
