What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at Insight Global?
Test Technician:
This is an onsite graveyard shift (11:30 PM – 8:00 AM, 5 days/week) on a 6-month contract, with opportunities for overtime.
About the Role:
You’ll ensure products meet quality standards through testing, debugging, and equipment maintenance, while collaborating with engineers to improve processes.
Key Highlights:
- Perform test/debug analysis and repair of test fixtures
- Assist in test area setup and method development
- Interpret schematics and write new test procedures
- Train operators and maintain tester equipment
Qualifications:
- GED/AA/Certificate/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2 years in electronic testing/debugging
- Comfortable in a warehouse environment (lifting up to 35 lbs)
- Skilled with test equipment (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers)
- English required; Mandarin a plus
- Can pay up to $33/hr
