Telecom Tehcnician
Duration: 6 months, possible to extend
Location: Hybrid, will need to go onsite as needed – must be local within 50miles of Kirkland, WA
Bill Rate: $30-34/hr
Interview: 1 and done virtual
Required Experience:
- 2 years of experience in telecom, desktop support, helpdesk, system administration, or similar
- Knowledge of Cisco VoIP system and devices.
- Experience working in IDF/MDF closets, including patch panel management and cable organization
Day-to-Day:
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems (VoIP, PBX, routers, switches).
- Perform cabling and wiring for voice and data networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call quality, connectivity, and hardware failures.
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or patches as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and inventory.
- Respond to onsite service requests and provide end-user support for telecom-related issues.
