JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an Outside Sales Representative – Climate Control for a top equipment rental client. This individual will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts across a high-activity territory, selling portable HVAC and environmental solutions for short-term and project-based needs. The role is field focused with a fast, transactional sales cycle, heavy customer interaction, and strong earning potential through uncapped commissions. COMPENSATION:
- Base Salary: $45,000-$55,000/yr - based off of experience!
- On Target Earnings (OTE) = $115,000-$130,000/yr on average
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
- TERRITORY BASED ROLE, Company car fuel card
- NO OVERNIGHT TRAVEL, state/local travel only!
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of outside B2B sales, territory sales, or account management experience
- 2 years of selling a service, operational solution, industrial product, facilities solution, equipment-related offering, or technical business solution Proven experience managing and growing an existing book of business while generating net-new revenue
- Background selling into commercial, facilities, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or service-based markets
- Proven ability to conduct customer meetings, discovery calls, presentations, contract discussions, and closing conversations independently
- Strong CRM proficiency including pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and account strategy
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Temporary climate control experience / HVAC experience
- Experience calling on hospitals, healthcare systems, universities, manufacturing facilities, or large commercial organizations
- Experience interpreting blueprints, floor plans, construction drawings, or project specifications
- Experience w/ Salesforce
- Experience w/Bluebeam
