Senior Tax Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: 115k with 5% bonus potential
Day-to-day:
The Tax Senior will be responsible for assisting the preparation, review and consolidation of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across finance and accounting teams.
Job Description
- Assist in the preparation, review, analysis and consolidation of global tax provisions for quarterly and annual financials.
- Prepare worldwide tax account reconciliations and roll forward analysis.
- Prepares financial statement disclosures and footnotes for interim and annual filings.
- Assist in Compliance with SOX control requirements, ensuring proper documentation.
- Research and document complex tax and accounting issues.
- Prepare modeling for tax planning strategies.
- 50/50 split between group and individual work
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of corporate tax accounting experience
- Either in-house with multinational corporations, or with multinational accounting firms.
- Familiar with ASC 740 with background in international and/or US taxes
Pluses:
- CPA highly preferred
- Proficiency in the following software applications: Corptax, One Source, Power Query, Power Automate, Robotics
- Excel proficiency
- Bilingual
