Job Description
An aerospace and defense company in the high-power laser technology space is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator. This person will join a lean, collaborative IT organization and handle a mix of day-to-day infrastructure support and strategic projects across Linux and Windows environments. Responsibilities will include server and network administration, hardware rollouts and custom hardware builds, virtualization, troubleshooting, identity and access governance, cloud and Microsoft 365 administration, and supporting a broad user base ranging from executives to engineers. The environment is highly regulated, so this person should be comfortable working within cybersecurity, risk, and compliance requirements while partnering closely with infrastructure, service desk, and cybersecurity teams. This is a Direct Hire position based in Longmont, Colorado, requiring 5 days per week onsite, with occasional evening or weekend support in the event of an emergency. The salary range is $80,000-$120,000, depending on experience and interview feedback.
