Supplier Quality Engineer

We’re seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier qualification, audits, and performance for a leading aerospace manufacturer. This role ensures purchased components meet stringent quality and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement across the supply base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on supplier selection and development
- Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits (ISO 9001, AS9100)
- Review and approve First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102
- Manage supplier nonconformance and lead root cause/corrective actions
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and special process compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 3 years in Quality Engineering (aerospace/manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
- Experience with FAIRs, PPAP, APQP, SPC
- Proficient in GD&T and inspection tools (CMMs, Faro Arms)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred:
- NADCAP audit experience
- CQE, Six Sigma, or ISO Lead Auditor certification
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
