Structural Analysis Engineer

Compensation & Job Details:

• 12 month extending assignment
• Onsite in Ridley Park, PA - will move to hybrid model following training
• $35/hr-$63/hr - exact rate is based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. The team hires in Levels 1-4 so rate is also contingent on hiring level.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficient in CAD BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering
• 2-3 years experience working within structural analysis specific to an aerospace environment
• Classical hand calculations used to conduct stress analysis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• FEM (Finite Element Method); FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
• 2-3 years of experience FD&T Experience (Functional Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

As a PDC Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to support a variety of products interfacing with multiple disciplines including Structures Design and Stress Analysis, Mechanical Systems, Dynamic Components, and Electrical systems. Main functions include: Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.
