Medical Technician

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Med Tech II for a top healthcare and laboratory services client. This candidate will join a fast-paced STAT laboratory environment performing routine testing with a primary focus on Hematology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate brings 2-4 years of Med Tech experience, ASCP certification, and a strong clinical laboratory background. Experience working with Roche/Cobas instrumentation is highly preferred. This is an onsite opportunity with potential for conversion to a permanent position.

Day-to-Day:

• Work onsite within the STAT laboratory
• Perform routine laboratory testing
• Perform testing within Hematology and Chemistry
• Utilize laboratory instrumentation and internal Labcorp systems
• No blood banking required

Must-Haves:

• 2-4 years of Medical Technologist/Med Tech experience
• Hematology experience
• Chemistry experience for routine STAT lab testing
• ASCP certification required
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Medical Technology, or otherwise meet applicable CLIA testing-personnel standards outlined in the intake
• Must complete color vision screening

Compensation:

$28/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
