Title: QA/QC Electrician
Duration: Long Term Contracting
Location: Jackson, MS
Schedule: Will work 55-60 hours/week. One weekend out of the month will get 4 day weekend at home.
Interview: 1 and done
Hourly Rate: $45/hr-$55/hr
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of electrical field experience - Must be at least Journeyman
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, conduit systems, lighting systems, feeders, and motor feeders
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and LOTO procedures
- Ability to travel 100%
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills
Plusses:
- Experience with commissioning and startup procedures
- Leadership experience leading small electrical crews
- Experience performing QA/QC audits
- Arc Flash study support experience
- Training and mentoring experience
Day-to-Day:
- Perform quality inspections on electrical installations
- Will walk around with small hand tools and tablet
- Review construction documents and identify quality concerns
- Analyze commissioning/startup schedules
- Audit field work for compliance with standards and best practices
- Conduct jobsite coaching and employee development
- Support project leadership with quality recommendations
- Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA/LOTO compliance
- Assist with arc flash study data collection
- Partner with project teams to improve quality processes
Salary : $45 - $55
