Position: Stress Analyst (Level 4 or Level 5)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Must Haves:
- Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study
- 8 years of aircraft structural/stress analysis experience
- Experience in the area of modification of business jets or fixed-wing aircraft
- Experience in classical stress analysis of Major Fuselage Mods
- Advanced Finite Element Analysis skills in Nastran and Femap
- Experience with NX (Unigraphics) and Teamcenter
- Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification
- Familiar with the FAA Airworthiness and Certification Requirements (CFR part 25)
- Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Day to Day: An employer in the Greenville, TX market is looking for a Stress Analyst to join their team. The purpose of the position is to provide stress analysis of primary aircraft structure and major external modification on a business jet using classical and finite element techniques. Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and stress support for major fuselage reinforcements and composite fairings and radomes. Leading and coaching less experienced stress engineers. The major functions would include:
- Stress Analysis for Fuselage Reinforcements and Penetrations
- Stress Support for New Design of Major External Modifications
- Composite Testing and Structural Analysis
- Preparation of Stress Analysis Reports
- Perform Load Analysis
- Calculate Margins of Safety
Compensation:
$50/hr to $80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
