About the Role
Our client is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer to join their team, focused on embedded electronic systems for fuel dispenser products. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in technical design and integration and is excited about growing into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and review of electronic hardware systems (schematics, component selection).
- Design and implement PCBs with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability.
- Drive technical roadmaps for hardware platforms and scalability across product lines.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing).
- Mentor engineers and lead design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and payment certification standards (PCI, EMC, UL).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 6 years in electronic hardware design and development.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on PCB design and implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent).
